Whyteleafe Side Extension
A modest single storey ground floor side extension running the full length of the house has really unlocked the ground floor layout to provide the family with a much needed second shower room downstairs as well as a separate snug for the children, located centrally with a vaulted ceiling and large roof window.
To the rear, the kitchen has been opened up to the dining room and extended. The kitchen space feels bright and airy with a vaulted ceiling and large 3-in-1 rooflight flooding the space with natural light while a stunning bespoke new breakfast bar overlooks the garden.
Sometimes the most modest of extensions can make the biggest difference to a home which is why we don’t like to put a lower limit on the size of project we undertake.
Our clients at this semi-detached home in Whyteleafe came to us wanting some additional ground floor space. Their existing kitchen was cramped and dark with no view of the garden, there was no downstairs WC and they really hoped to be able to find a way to accommodate a separate room for the children to play in - as well as to hide away their toys!
